Liam Rosenior issues update on Xavier Simons and Nathan Baxter loans as Harvey Vale on 'verge' of leaving Hull

Liam Rosenior has confirmed that Hull City are on the 'verge' of ending Harvey Vale's season-long loan spell from Premier League outfit Chelsea. Vale joined the Tigers on transfer deadline day in September but has featured just twice in the Championship, and just once in the league since Rosenior took charge at the MKM Stadium.
"We are on the verge of officially ending his [Harvey Vale] loan. That was a collaborative decision. That's not Harvey wanted to leave this club, and that's something where we felt for his development at this stage of his career, he needs the minutes and he needs first team football," Rosenior told BBC Humberside.
"I can't guarantee that with the great squad I've got here. Good luck to him, he's a lovely lad, great kid and he's got a lot of potential.
"It's a different case entirely with them [Xavier Simons and Nathan Baxter]. I really like the both of them, obviously Nathan is going to be out for a long time. With Xavi, I love the kid, I think he's got a great future in the game, and he's someone I enjoy working with, and want to work with in the long-term."

In other Academy news, Harvey Vale has returned from his loan at Hull City and he goes straight back into the development squad. The young midfielder played two Championship games for the the Tigers but injury sidelined the England U-20 captain for a large part of his time there.
Vale has featured for our young Blues this season under Mark Robinson, scoring three goals in his time here before completing his loan move on deadline day last summer.
