Chelsea FC has announced that Frank Lampard has been named Caretaker
Manager until the end of the season.

The move marks a return to Stamford Bridge for Frank who enjoyed an
illustrious playing career with the Blues, winning the Premier League on
three occasions and the UEFA Champions League in Munich. He managed the
club for 84 games, including guiding us to an FA Cup final.

Following the announcement that Frank Lampard has returned for another
spell at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea's caretaker manager, we remind you of

== How old is Frank Lampard? ==
Frank Lampard is 44 years old. He was born on 20 June 1978 in Romford in
Essex.
== How many Chelsea games has Frank Lampard managed? ==
Lampard previously took charge of the Blues between July 2019 and January
2021, sitting in the dug-out for 84 matches in all competitions.
== What is Frank Lampard's Premier League record as a Chelsea coach? ==
In his one full season as Chelsea head coach, in 2019/20, Lampard guided
the Blues to a fourth-place finish in the Premier League, only missing out
on third place to Manchester United on goal difference. We won 20 of our
38 league games that season.
== What other teams has Frank Lampard managed? ==
Lampard started his management career with Derby County during the 2018/19
season. His first game in charge was a 2-1 away win at Reading in August
2018. Derby finished the Championship season in sixth place, having won 20
out of 46 games and drawn 14. It qualified the Rams for the promotion
play-offs. Having beaten Leeds United over two legs, they lost 2-1 in the
final to Aston Villa at Wembley.
After his time with Chelsea, Lampard then took charge at Everton in the
Premier League in February 2022, steering the Merseyside club clear of
relegation with a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace on the penultimate week of
the season. Including the first half of the current campaign, he managed
38 Premier League games for the Toffees.

Lampard is still looking for his first trophy as a manager, although he

to the final of the FA Cup in 2020 after a narrow penalty shoot-out defeat

least! UEFA Champions League 2012; Premier League 2005, 2006 and 2010;

silverware in all.
He was also an Intertoto Cup winner with West Ham United earlier in his
playing career, in 1999.

Year 2005; Premier League Player of the Year 2005; named in the FIFPro

when he bent the ball away off his boot from distance into the top corner
of the Lazio net.
At Chelsea he reached double figures for goals in 10 consecutive seasons,
and 20 goals or more in five seasons in a row.
