Young goalkeeper loan

Academy goalkeeper Max Merrick has completed a deadline day loan move to Hanwell Town. The 17-year-old will spend the rest of the season at the Southern League Premier Division South club.
Merrick has made 11 Chelsea appearances this season across a number of different competitions, including featuring in the UEFA Youth League and the Under-18s Premier League Cup.
Meanwhile, striker Bryan Fiabema has returned from a loan at Forest Green Rovers where the Norwegian youth international made 14 appearances for the League One club.

Lucas Bergstrom (Peterborough United), Bryan Fiabema (Forest Green Rovers), Harvey Vale (Hull City), Ethan Wady (Woking) and Jayden Wareham (Leyton Orient) all returned to Chelsea in January after spending the first half of the season on loan.

Chelsea also confirm that Ethan Wady returned to the club from his loan spell at Woking. He's eligible to go back out on loan to National League clubs or below (as is everyone else) as the transfer window doesn't apply to those leagues.
