Enzo Maresca has just conducted his pre-match press conference ahead of
Chelsea's FA Cup third round tie with Morecambe on Saturday afternoon.

weekend with the hosts going into the cup tie as enormous favourites.
Maresca has just been speaking to the media to preview the match, and was
also asked about a variety of other topics at Cobham. Here is the full

Then the rest, apart from Benoit Badiashile, Wes Fofana and Kiernan

"No. It's too early; the plan for him is to try and put him in condition
to get some minutes in the future, not now. He had some injuries when he
was there and now it is important for him to arrive here, adapt to English
weather, English football and then from there we will start to use him."

"We speak the same language in terms of we communicate between each other
in English and in French, so it has been quite clear. I spoke with Wes -

can recover sooner than that. We are all happy if Wes' recovers [quicker]
and will be available for tomorrow, but we are going to see.

"The only thing I can say is Marc Guehi is a Palace player. I like Marc
for sure but he is not our player. But I like also the central defenders
we have. I also like different types of central defenders in Italy, Spain
and France but that doesn't mean we are going to buy a player.

plan is not to use Ben tomorrow."

situation as Ben Chilwell. For him, probably in this moment, the idea is

us, not because he's not good. He is a good player and in the middle we
have Caicedo, Enzo and Lavia - for me, who are the same position.

"No, no, no - I don't think the players switch off. During the season, you
have some moments where you score goals at the end and you have moments

"The reaction is not anything weird or strange. Probably for us, to be in
some moments of the season in second and close to first, people thought
that we were not going to have this kind of moment. But that is not real.

"In this moment, the only team since we start that is winning every game
is Liverpool. Apart from them, we all have some moments where we struggle

"And also, you have to analyse the games, the performances. In the last

room even though we drew. The reason why is because probably they have the
desire to win all of the games, so this is probably something really
good."

the competition but not like in England with the FA Cup."
