Enzo Maresca has just conducted his pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea's Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.

"The only thing I can say is we bought Renato from Basel. He arrived here, played in different positions, played well and this allowed him to join the national team for the first time in his life, senior national team. Probably even if he is not playing in his position, if he is playing for the national team, then that probably means that in the position he is playing, he can do well.

They are a very good team with the same manager from a different season. They are very tough, they are very intense and the reason they are doing well this season is because they work very good."

"Could be. You mentioned that with Cole playing wide, then the full-back would overlap but when the full-back overlaps, Cole already goes inside the pitch. In the end, he ends up in the same position. It's just the starting position, then the ball moves and Cole changes position.

Talking about positions, for me, today in football you have to be a football player playing in different positions. They are all football players and you can teach them to play in different positions."

That means clubs are probably looking for him and looking for players that are doing well, well with the club and well with the national team.

Also, if we can keep players happy, then we are happy but that is not the reality: the players are happy just if they play and if they don't play, then they are not happy."

Chilwell is a top full-back, probably doing the job up and down and giving him the opportunity in the past to win titles, to be with international team but I struggle to see Ben doing different type of things."

"Just to continue to work in the way he is working. As you said, he scored many goals at the beginning of the season. Now, there are games where he is not scoring but we are completely happy with Nicolas.

"We don't judge Nicolas just because of the goals. We judge Nicolas for different kinds of things and as I said already, I spoke with Nicolas a few days ago. Last year I think he scored 14 or 15 goals in the Premier League without penalties. [Erling] Haaland, penalty, [Mohamed] Salah, penalty, Cole Palmer, penalty.
