Chelsea were made to bide their time but ended up cruising into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 5-0 win over League Two Morecambe.
Chelsea had to wait until the 39th minute for our first goal - after Christopher Nkunku had an early penalty saved - as Tosin Adarabioyo saw his deflected long-range effort finally beat the impressive Harry Burgoyne.
Nkunku doubled our advantage early in the second half and we never looked back, as stunning long-range efforts from Tosin and Joao Felix - who ended up with a brace - rounded off the win in style.
== Ten changes ==
Pedro Neto was the only Blues player to retain his place in the starting line-up from our 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Filip Jorgensen was in goal and in front of him was James, Axel Disasi, Tosin and Renato Veiga, who when in possession would move alongside Romeo Lavia in the deep-lying midfield roles.
Neto and Tyrique George were operating on the right and left flanks respectively, with Joao Felix and Nkunku playing in advance roles behind Marc Guiu.
Chelsea dominated possession from the off and created our first chance after just three minutes when Disasi headed over from inside the penalty area.
But Morecambe showed they were not going to simply lie down immediately after, as a counter-attack saw right winger Ben Tollitt cut inside Veiga and sting the palms of Jorgensen.
The Blues were continually applying pressure. A blocked Joao Felix shot resulted in a dangerous James corner bouncing across the six-yard box. The ball was diverted away only as far as the Portuguese and his volley went over the crossbar.
Joao Felix saw plenty of the ball in the first half and it was his diving tackle which resulted in Academy graduate George firing a cross-shot across the face of goal.
Chelsea were also a threat from set-pieces. Tosin headed Neto's corner against the post, the centre-back saw another header parried away and Disasi diverted another delivery over the bar, all within the opening half an hour.
== Penalty saved ==
The home side had a great chance to open the scoring on 17 minutes when Morecambe conceded a penalty in unfortunate circumstances. Captain Yann Songo'o put his arm up to appeal the ball had gone out of play just as Joao Felix crossed, with the ball striking his arm.
Nkunku's penalty was saved by Burygoyne down to his right and the Morecambe goalkeeper then turned his follow up around the post.
Marc Guiu found clear openings hard to come by as Morecambe set up camp but the teenage striker did well to latch on to Lavia's through-ball midway through the half and hit a powerful shot which had some fans inside the stadium thinking he had scored, as it shook the side-netting.
Joao Felix then did well to create space by dragging back and hitting a 20-yard shot which the impressive Burgoyne tipped around the post.
George was lively on the left flank and it was his good wing play and cross which then saw Nkunku head wide from ten yards.
== Breakthrough finally arrives ==
Burgoyne had enjoyed an excellent first half and in the end the Blues needed some good fortune to beat the 28-year-old, as Tosin's shot from outside the area struck the back of Callum Jones and went into the opposite bottom corner to the diving goalkeeper for 1-0.
Tosin thought he would try his luck from distance once more minutes later, this time from around 35 yards out, but the powerful strike went narrowly wide and the advantage stayed at one goal heading into the interval.
== Lead doubled ==
Maresca made three changes at the interval, as the returning James and Lavia made way for Malo Gusto and Marc Cucurella, and Jadon Sacho replaced Neto.
And it was Cucurella who helped set up his side's second goal five minutes after his introduction. The Spaniard's pull-back from the byline was intercepted but the ball rolled to Veiga. His shot was parried by Burgoyne and Nkunku collected the rebound ten yards from goal and fired into the bottom corner.
Chelsea kept pushing for a third. Joao Felix shot over, Cucurella had an effort from outside the area hit the side-netting and Disasi went agonisingly close to heading in at the far post, following Nkunku's flick-on from a corner.
The Blues were totally dominant and the third goal arrived with 20 minutes remaining - and in some style. George laid the ball back from the left wing, Sancho stepped over, leaving it to Tosin, who controlled and curled in a stunning 25-yard strike into the top corner.
And it was 4-0 soon after. Cucurella countered following a dangerous Morecambe cross and again it was from a George pass back from the left that Joao Felix scored with a 20-yard shot which beat the goalkeeper with its accuracy, rather than power.
== And it's five ==
Joao Felix then scored his second two minutes later with a superb curled shot into the far top corner from outside the area.
Morecambe continued to show heart and the fans could have had their moment to celebrate when Hallam Hope was put through one-on-one but his shot was too tame and easily saved by Jorgensen.
There was still time for Harvey Macadam to shoot over but it was a comfortable 5-0 win for the Premier League side.
== What it means ==
The Blues have now progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup, with the draw taking place on Sunday evening after Arsenal versus Manchester United, which kicks off at 3pm and will be on televised on BBC One in the UK.
== What's next ==
Chelsea will be back at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday when we return to Premier League action against Bournemouth. The match will kick off at 7.30pm and will be shown on TNT Sports in the UK.

上半場初段浪費兩個頭球後，客隊莫名其妙打排球送點，恩昆庫也莫名其妙踢太正被擋出，接著菲利克斯遠射被撲，最後才靠托辛中路遠射折射進，整個上半場面對鐵桶陣雖然創造出不少良機，但進攻轉換和推進都超級慢，硬幹的決心也不夠，看了實在沒勁，而且後防又抖了幾次....
下半場連換三人，改踢維加單後腰、庫庫雷利亞大量前插的 3151，並加快進攻節奏，立刻上半場頗活躍的喬治 + 庫庫雷利亞 + 維加的攻擊讓恩昆庫撿尾刀，最後再補上托辛遠射世界波、菲利克斯遠射貼地斬和弧線波，基本上下半場這樣踢才有那麼一點踢低級別球隊該有的樣子，但是想到後段約根森兩次脫手，真的快暈倒....
