Confirmed Chelsea travelling squad for 2026 pre-season tour

A group of 28 Chelsea players will depart London for Sydney today as our pre-season tour of Australia and Asia gets underway.

The trip will provide Blues manager Xabi Alonso with invaluable time with his squad on and off the training pitch, and five matches are scheduled against new and familiar opposition, all of which will be broadcast live on CFC+.

A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers provide the first test, with the game taking place at Accor Stadium on Tuesday 28 July (kick-off 7.45pm AEST).

The same venue then hosts the latest installment of a storied rivalry, as the Blues take on Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 1 August (kick-off 7.45pm AEST).



It's then on to Hong Kong to take on Serie A giants Juventus on Wednesday 5 August (kick-off 7.30pm HKT), before another Italian club awaits in Jakarta, Indonesia, as we face AC Milan at GBK Stadium Jakarta on Saturday 8 August (kick-off 7pm WIB).

The tour concludes in Malaysia as play Johor Darul Ta'zim at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Sunday 9 August (kick-off 8pm MYT). For full ticket and hospitality information, click here.

Today's travelling party includes summer signing Marco Palestra, and several players who have come through the Blues' Academy at Cobham.

Several other first-team players are expected to join the Blues squad during the tour. Information as to when they report will be confirmed on club channels.

Chelsea squad numbers for 2026 pre-season tour

The shirt numbers the Chelsea players will be wearing during our 2026 pre-season tour of Australia and Asia have been confirmed.

The Blues travel to Sydney today and will have two games in the Australian city. The first comes against A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers, while the second is against a familiar foe in the shape of London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

We will then travel to Hong Kong to take on Italian giants Juventus. A game against AC Milan in Jakarta, Indonesia, follows before our tour wraps up in Malaysia as we take on Johor Darul Ta'zim.

A 28-man squad has boarded the plane heading towards Australia, with other members of the first-team set to report during the tour. These will be communicated by the club throughout the trip.

Supporters should note that during pre-season, the shirt numbers worn by all players may not be representative of their finalised squad numbers for the 2026/27 campaign. Further detail on this will be provided in due course.
