🚨 Chelsea must pay Manchester United £5m if Jadon Sancho loan is not turned permanent in summer. 24yo winger left #MUFC on temporary basis with buy obligation worth up to £25m but #CFC can opt out for set fee. W/ @liam_twomey @SJohnsonSport @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/nT2qAoJ1Sr

Chelsea are likely to make an end of season call whether to send Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United.

Permanent move was always the original intent, and Chelsea and Sancho maintain a strong relationship despite his lull in form.

It'll cost more to not sign Sancho than it did to sell Hudson-Odoi.

Well run etc.
Dunno if it went wrong or if he just hit a ceiling but you can't be a winger who doesn't shoot if you wanna play at the highest levels. Doesn't get into the box, doesn't threaten the goal, have to do those at volume at a minimum (Madueke does them both very well).

Because the standards of defending in the Bundesliga are pretty poor. Huge transitional games that don't really exist in other top leagues.
