Chelsea handed away tie in Carabao Cup fourth round

The draw for the Carabao Cup fourth round has been made and for the first time in the competition this season, Chelsea will be on the road.
The Blues defeated Luton Town and Leeds United in rounds two and three, winning a spectacular tie against our fellow Premier League side 6-3 last week.
That victory booked our place in tonight's fourth round draw, which handed Xabi Alonso's side an away game against Liverpool.
We won on our most recent trip to Anfield in this competition, back in 2018, on a night when Eden Hazard scored one of his most memorable goals in a Chelsea shirt.
More recently we faced the Reds in the Carabao Cup final in both 2022 and 2024, while we beat them in the 2005 showpiece in Cardiff to win the competition for the third time.
All fourth-round ties will be played across the week commencing 26 October.
Fixture and ticket information will be confirmed in due course.
